Day 30 - Your favourite song at this time last year
It was Holiday In Spain still, but to keep from posting the same song twice in this thing, I’ll go with the song that last.fm says I played the most on this week last year. I had just seen Death Cab live for the first time though, so that might have been an influence.

Day 29 - A song from your childhood
When my dad used to take me and my brothers to his place every second weekend, I used to rush to get into the car first to pop his Endless Summer tape into the cassette player. Little Deuce Coup is very symbolic of my childhood, because it’s the only song I can vividly remember from my very first concert ever, in 1989… but a song that reminds me even more of my childhood (which isn’t on that best of album) is this one, because I used to sing it on cue at every family event. I was even our family’s “talent” at a church retreat we went to… nothing like preying on a 3 year old’s lack of modesty.

Day 27 - A song that you wish you could play on an instrument
There are SO MANY. Seriously. This song doesn’t have any particularly special guitar solos or anything, but I love it so much that I’d really like to know how to play it. Even though I can’t play guitar at all.

Weezer is playing in Halifax this summer, and I’ll be on the other side of the country. I’m kind of sad about this, but I’d have to pay to see the Black Eyed Peas in order to see them if I was home. So I figure this is just the universe’s way of making the wisest decision for me.

Day 23 - A song that you want played at your wedding
I don’t know anything that I want at my wedding. But I think I’d want this played at some point because it’s so beautiful.
